Vitamins to Improve Chances of Pregnancy

Supplement to increase chances of pregnancy has been approved by several researchers. We we ketahuai far, the benefits of vitamins or supplements to maintain, repair and improve fitness. And it turns out there are the benefits of vitamins to improve the chances of pregnancy. Especially effective are consumed to increase fertility.

From a small study, experts obstetrics gynecology and reproductive health from the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire dr. Rina Agrawal observe the effects of supplementation in 58 women are less fertile. All of the women were treated using drugs such as Clomid to induce ovulation.

Agrawal divide them into two groups. Half of the women were using a vitamin every day or so-called conception pregnacare - a nutrient that is specifically designed to support the nutritional needs of women who are trying to conceive - for four weeks. While others took a standard dose of folic acid.

The research team, who conducted experiments at University College London and Royal Free Hospital, found that 60 percent of women who took vitamins had attained their pregnancy. While the group of women who consume folic acid numbers mencpai kehamilanya only 25 percent. These findings were published in the journal Reproductive Biomedicine.

Dr Agrawal, who has been around 16 years dealing with thousands of patients dealing with fertility treatments, insemination and IVF, suggesting that these findings demonstrate the importance of supplementation in women to increase the odds of pregnancy.

Meanwhile andrology from the University of Sheffield, Dr Allan Pacey, these findings argue bhawa interesting, but for sure needs to be studied further by a subsequent study with a large scale.
We hear most of the drugs or supplements are not good for internal organs, as well as for pregnancy. Need to be careful on the issue of drug consumption, trusted doctor's recommendation is necessary. But the natural way without drugs, I think a lot safer.

Dangerous Risk of Overdosing Paracetamol

Consumption of drugs or supplements are not realized was a very common practice many people today. Since the number of species are prone to disease in the body, then frequent use of mild medicines. Popular painkiller used around the world is paracetamol. And there is research that indicates millions of people around the world may be at risk of overdosing on paracetamol. Dangerous risk of overdosing Paracetamol, can damage the liver.

The experts from Northwestern University in Chicago U.S. states, nearly 25 percent of adults erred in taking paracetamol. Many of the patients taking these drugs exceed the recommended dose within 24 hours.
Drug users mostly ignore dosage instructions or procedures for use, especially the elderly who often forget how many tablets they had consumed. There are patients who do not realize that they are in treatment with other drugs containing acetaminophen, the active ingredient Paracetamol.

Doctor's recommendation for the maximum dose is eight tablets of paracetamol 500 mg a day. Maximum of only two tablets just for a drink in every four hours. When exceeding the set limit, one consequence is an overdose that causes liver damage and fluid accumulation in the brain at risk of fatal.

Research published in the Journal of General Internal Medicine online edition, Dr. Michael Wolf conducted a study on the prevalence of abuse and the possibility of acetaminophen overdose. Wolf interviewed more than 500 adult patients who went to clinics in several cities in the U.S. between September 2009 until March 2011.

The researchers tested how far the patient's understanding of and ability to take the drug dose acetaminophen appropriately. The result was quite surprising. More than a quarter of patients at risk of taking an overdose of painkillers because of exceeding the maximum limit of 4 grams in 24 hours. In addition, there are 5 percent of patients who make fatal mistakes because of drinking more than 6 grams of the drug within 24 hours. While nearly 50 percent of patients at risk of overdose due to "double-dipping" or downing of two types of medicines that contain acetaminophen.

"Our findings indicate that many consumers do not recognize or distinguish the active ingredient in OTC pain relievers, they also do not listen carefully to the instructions on drug labels," says Wolf. "With the prevalence, a significant risk of adverse effects, and lack of understanding, a doctor should provide guidance in decision making and advise patients on proper medication use," he added. beautiful healthy lifestyle

Vitamin C Supplements Can Lower Blood pressure

What supplements or medicines for high blood pressure, many drugs have been made to it. The recent discovery that vitamin C supplements can lower blood pressure. Johns Hopkins in its latest research found the benefits of high-dose supplementation of vitamin C to help reduce blood pressure. However, the researchers emphasize that these findings do not encourage people to take vitamin supplements. Although it seems easy, but how to consume vitamin C is not well taken in doses high.

Research shows that vitamin C can affect blood pressure. But before we recommend vitamin C supplements as a treatment for high blood pressure (hypertension), we still need more research to understand the implications of the consumption of vitamin C supplements, "says study leader, Edgar R. Miller Pete who published his findings in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Some experts believe that high levels of vitamin C, an essential micronutrient that is found mainly in fruits and vegetables, may lower blood pressure. But studies conducted a randomized controlled trial on diet and nutrition interventions showed mixed results.

In his research, Miller and his colleagues reviewed and analyzed data from 29 previous clinical trials that were randomly selected. The findings showed that volunteers who ate an average of 500 milligrams of vitamin C per day, reduced blood pressure 3.84 mmHg in the short term. Even among those diagnosed with hypertension, blood pressure reduction is closer to 5 mmHg.

Levels of 500 milligrams of vitamin C equivalent of about six cups of orange juice. Meanwhile, the recommended daily intake of vitamin C for adults is 90 milligrams.
By comparison, Miller said, patients who take blood pressure-lowering drugs such as ACE inhibitors or diuretics the blood pressure decreased about 10 millimeters of mercury.
"Although our findings only found a small effect on blood pressure reduction, but if the entire U.S. population can lower their blood pressure as much as 3 mm Hg, the risk of stroke will be much less," said Miller.

A good way is to take supplements or medicines that fit romendasi doctor. If using nutrition of fruit juice with a small amount more, it may be safely performed.
